HangDi Shan (Wild Hills)
These hills are an unusually wild area. There are very few civilised peoples living
here. There is double the normal chance for random encounters. |

The greatest swamp
in the Kingdom of Ye. This area is perhaps one of the wildest. Few Humans go here, and
those that do often have good reason not to be in a more typical part of the Kingdom.
There is still a fair amount of trade along the rivers, and the Kingdom patrols these
areas frequently. Even still the dangers are considerable.
River freight normally passes through this area in convoys. An couple of imperial
warships leave from the northern and southern entrances once per week. Merchant ships will
gather at the staging posts and then travel in the convoy. |

Chen Xue Chong (Ruins, Original Capital)
This city has long been abandoned. Recently a group of adventurers defeated the
terracotta army living here and a small village of a few houses has been constructed. |

Huo Shan Fang (Da ShiZhen, 24,862) (huñ shán fàng)
This city sits nestled between the three furnaces and a river.
The city is an indepndent district of the empire. Lead by the lawful good Okura No Oni
(COR 55), dä á duî në sê (大阿多尼斯). The city is
Lawful Good in the extreme. It is the openly stated aim of the Oni that the evil creatures
living in the Three Furncases shall not escape and harm the world. He is given full
control over this area by the Emperor as he is doing a good job of protecting the world
fromthe evil of the mountains.
The primary group of citizens in this city as Lawful Good Tanuki (COR 70). There is
also a small but significant popultion of Okura (COR 30). |

Nu Gong Zao (Da ChengShi, 1,770,448)
This costal city
is the capital of the Kingdom of Ye.
This sprawling city is located on the east bank of the Da Jiang. At this point the
river is so wide, the far bank is beyond the horizon. The city itself is walled, with a
series of walls. The outer wall is brick and earth with a 10 foot high face. The inner
wall is thirty meters high and ten meters thick. Again it is built of brick.
T 0-20 The city is largely rebuilt. The building boom creates great
wealth and the city again booms economically.

Ru Du Shui (Da ShiZhen, 32,901)
This independent city is
located near the southern border of the Jhao ZeDi swamp.
An autonomous city is allied with the Kingdom of Ye, yet manages to keep itself
independent because it is mainly populated by Hengeyokai. Most types have a life here, but
Carp and Crane are the dominant types. Humans only form a small minority (about 3%) of the
population.
The city is an open city that has reputation for being a wild and lawless place.
It is one of the few places where spirit forms can openly exist in the general population.
The locals feel that they have a tolerant and open city where an individual can achieve
their true potential.
Visitors are welcome, and trade is vibrant. This city provides many goods and services
that are not common in the rest of the kingdom due its location on the swamp and the
unusual population mix.
Outsiders are treated with caution. This city has few dealings with those outside the
Kingdom of Ye and people from beyond the borders are treated as oddities. |

Yu Ru Shui (Xiao ShiZhen, 18,614)
This small city lives under
the terrifying spell of the original capital. People are afraid and Do not venture to the
old site.
The city is ruled by an old Mandarin, who allows the local town folk to pretty much do
as they please. He is bitter that he was never able to make it to rule a more important
city. Hence he tends to ignore the central edicts.
The town mainly survives on agriculture. |

This city sits at
the centre of the plain. It is where five rivers meet. It it a major trading town.
Probably the most important in the whole kingdom.
The city is ruled by a powerful group of Mandarins, called the Big Five (Da Wu). From
here heavily armed fleets head south to the capital. The presence of the navy is to
protect the merchants in their trip through the dangerous swamp. |
